Women Missionaries

Today whole world celebrating international Women’s Day. I hope this day will remind you once more the importance of a woman’s influence around us. If we walk with the Lord in His obedience, we are world changers. If we walk in the flesh we influence as well. May we never be ashamed of our conduct and choices. Here is a wonderful link of information about several strong Christian women who are not ashamed of their walk before Christ: http://womenmissionaries.blogspot.com/. You do not need to leave your home and your country to make great contribution to the world. Every woman is powerful in her own house, church, city and country. We will be surprised in heaven how much our obedience brought fruit to the Lord. No wonder David speaks of women as such: “The Lord gave the command: a great company of women brought the good news: “The kings of the armies flee – they flee!” She who stays at home divides the spoil.” (Psalm 68:11–12. Martha’s Sin

I believe Jesus’ rebuke towards Martha was justified. It is written that Martha was distracted with much serving. Mary, however, focused her attention towards the Guest Himself, and absorbed all the words and teaching of the Son of God. Jesus rebuked Martha in her busy ways, which kept her from the most important issues. Martha’s sin was in her busyness, an overabundance of serving at the moment. Exceeding in worldly care will unavoidably bring us to spiritual bankruptcy, which will lead to serious consequences. Isaiah 5:12–14 reveals that it will entrap a soul to the enemy, lead to spiritual thirst and hunger, and ultimately the destruction of a soul.

“The harp and the strings, The tambourine and flute, And wine are in their feasts; But they do not regard the work of the LORD, Nor consider the operation of His hands. Therefore my people have gone into captivity, Because they have no knowledge; Their honorable men are famished, And their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore Sheol has enlarged itself And opened its mouth beyond measure; Their glory and their multitude and their pomp, And he who is jubilant, shall descend into it.” (NKJV)

Let’s take an example from Mary and let’s put the care for our eternal souls and the souls of our children and loved ones as priority. Because it is exactly what will bring blessing: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things” (Matthew 5:33, 34a, NKJV). This way neither flesh nor spirit will have any harm.

Prayer: “Lord, help me to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, so I won’t lose the kingdom and have all these other things added to me as well.” Matthew 6:33

Ancient Prophecy for Our Days

“. . . An assembly of treacherous men.  “And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” says the LORD. “Everyone take heed to his neighbor, And do not trust any brother; For every brother will utterly supplant, And every neighbor will walk with slanderers.  Everyone will deceive his neighbor, And will not speak the truth; They have taught their tongue to speak lies; They weary themselves to commit iniquity.  Your dwelling place is in the midst of deceit; Through deceit they refuse to know Me,” says the LORD. Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts: “Behold, I will refine them and try them; For how shall I deal with the daughter of My people? Their tongue is an arrow shot out; It speaks deceit; One speaks peaceably to his neighbor with his mouth, But in his heart he lies in wait.  Shall I not punish them for these things?” says the LORD. “Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?”” (Jeremiah 9:2c–9, NKJV)
