Symbolism of the Great Sign

Let them give glory to the LORD, And declare His praise in the coastlands. The LORD shall go forth like a mighty man; He shall stir up His zeal like a man of war. He shall cry out, yes, shout aloud; He shall prevail against His enemies. (Isa. 42:12, 13)

Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. (Ps. 24:9b)

Revelation 12 is the last warning sign of the approaching Day of the Lord and the perfect storm that is coming with it. It signifies the actualization of Christ’s special expectations for His church. As I discussed in the previous chapter, the imminent Day of the Lord will be accompanied by a battle between two armies, both of which God will allow to be fought. The destructive army will be characterized by the wrath and judgement on the wickedness of people who refused to repent of their ways and accept the only God, Jesus Christ: “Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him!” (Ps. 2:12, NASB) The second army will prepare the way in praise and obedience to Him. They will open the gates and allow Him to come with glory, because He is the King of Glory and expects to come as such: “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory”  (Ps. 24:7-10).

I strongly believe that the second army will have a great number of women. At least, God will use women to wake up the rest. Their main job is to stay on their knees in prayer. This will cause God to move into the midst of His Church. Thus, through His Church, He will glorify Himself in the last hours. Before we go into detail on the task of this glorious second army, we will unmask the symbolism of Revelation 12:

A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of 12 stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in labor and agony as she was about to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: There was a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. His tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth. And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth he might devour her child. But she gave birth to a Son—a male who is going to shepherd all nations with an iron scepter—and her child was caught up to God and to His throne. (Rev. 12:1–5, HCSB)

  • A great sign appeared in heaven: This is an actual sign in heaven with the physical heavenly bodies and constellations. This sign also carries symbolism that conveys a spiritual message for Jewish people and the Church. (I describe the activity of those bodies in chapter one.)
  • A woman . . . with a crown of 12 stars on her head: The woman represents the nation of Israel, because she has a crown of twelve stars to represent the twelve tribes and in particular the tribe of Judah or a lion (Gen. 49:8–10). This crown is shaped like a lion. The Church is included as well. It believes in Jewish Messiah, Jesus Christ and His Scriptures.
  • Clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet: The sun represents birth or enlightenment of the woman. The moon represents night or great trials. Both are primarily related to the woman. Thus, it suggests that the Jewish nation and the Church will endure great tribulation, which will birth a certain positive outcome.
  • She was pregnant and cried out in labor and agony to give birth: The trials will bring worth the rebirth of the Church or revival, where many Jewish people will accept Christ as their Messiah, and the Church will purify its garments.
  • But she gave birth to a Son—a male who is going to shepherd all nations with an iron scepter: “Son” represents the Church or the body of Christ. The tribulation of Jewish people and the Church will bring rebirth or revival to the Church. God always did everything related to Him through His people, the Jews. The Holy Bible was written through them to bless whole humanity. The Law was given through them in order to set God’s moral ethics for humanity. Covenants were made between God and them. Jesus, the Savior came from them. The early church was made out of them first. The final global revival will not be without them. Their blessings come directly to the gentiles. We are blessed through the seed of Abraham, Jesus Christ. We must pray for their revival in order to get our revival.
  • Her child was caught up to God and to His throne: “Child” represents the Church, which is body of Christ. The revived Church will be caught up or raptured to be with God. This Church will be made up of Jews and people out of all nations.
  • Then another sign appeared in heaven: There was a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and 10 horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. His tail swept away a third of the stars in heaven and hurled them to the earth: The second sign will be within the physical bodies of heaven and holds a spiritual message for us. A political system will rise and persecute the reborn Church, both Jews and Gentiles.
  • And the dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she did give birth he might devour her child: During the revival and the rebirth of the Church, the political system will try to crush the Church through severe persecution. At this time, the Rapture will happen.

Let’s simplify things: Shortly after September 23, 2017, will be a great hardship and possible persecution of Jewish people and the Church all over the world. God will allow these trials to bring revival to His beloved descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and the Church. Through this persecution, they will accept their Messiah, Yeshua Hamashiach. Many people will accept Christ as their Savior. The world and the Church will witness miracles that have never been seen before. The name of Jesus Christ will be revered above any name. Many physical and spiritual strongholds will melt at the mention of His name. All these things will be possible because of God’s people filling their prayer cups for the world and their family members, relatives, neighbors, church, city, state, and country. At the peak of the revival, satan will raise a political system to crush the wave of the Holy Spirit’s movement throughout the land. The new, powerful Church will experience an intense persecution, but only for a short time. Sometime during the persecution, the Rapture will take place. The Feast of the Trumpets stands for the Rapture: “in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Cor. 15:52).

After the Rapture, the antichrist will come into power for 3.5 years. He will go after God’s remaining people, the Jews who didn’t accept Jesus and Christians who were not raptured due to not being ready (Rev. 12:6–17). During these 3.5 years, people will see the other half of Revelation, which follows chapter 12. The rest of Revelation mostly describes the events that will take place after the Church is caught up. Those will be times of the great Tribulation. Left behind people will witness: the antichrist (Rev. 13); the trampling of the holy city and prophesying of the two witnesses (Rev. 11:1–14); the boils of wrath for serving the beast (Rev. 16); the judgement of the Babylon (Rev. 17, 18); the battle of Armageddon – the Feast of Atonement (Rev. 14:14–20; 19:11–21; Zech. 14:1–4); and the blowing of the seventh angel with his trumpet – the Feast of Tabernacles (Rev. 11:15–19).

Power of the Locusts

The locusts have no king, yet they all advance in ranks.

Why does God make an example of these insects here? Aren’t they creatures of destruction and a sure sign of God’s wrath and judgment? What does the Lord want us to learn from them? A locust is like a grasshopper. When it is alone, it is insignificant and causes no concern. However, when those insects gather into a group, they become extremely powerful. We can learn two things from locusts: unity and patience: Locusts gather in unity and wait for the wind. They act in the principle of unity: “Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him. And a threefold cord is not quickly broken” (Eccl. 4:12). Together, they are like a plague when the wind picks them up and drops them on a field to graze. They cannot fly long distances. They fly in the direction of the wind. Just like locusts, we need to gather in unity around the same cause. Each woman, in her own home, should pray and fill her cup on behalf of herself, her children, her husband, her relatives, and everyone else for whom God gives her a burden. She may also pray for repentance of her city, state, and country.

We already learned that we have little time left. The next event will be the Rapture. Most of us are not ready for an early or a postponed rapture. It is possible that most of us are going to face persecution. It is going to get worse here on Earth, for the birth pains are only increasing as the day draws closer. Our many loved ones, including our children and husbands, are not ready either. We are in a devastating condition, and only God can help us overcome what is ahead and prepare us for the Rapture. This is exactly where women come into play in the following verses:

The LORD raises His voice in the presence of His army. His camp is very large; Those who carry out His command are powerful. Indeed, the Day of the LORD is terrible and dreadful – who can endure it? (Joel 2:11, HCSB)

The Lord gives the command; The women who proclaim the good tidings are a great host: ‘Kings of armies flee, they flee, And she who remains at home will divide the spoil! When you lie down among the sheepfolds, You are like the wings of a dove covered with silver, And its pinions with glistening gold. When the Almighty scattered the kings there, It was snowing in Zalmon. (Ps 68:11–14, NASB)

Before the Lord sends His fire on our alters, a sacrifice must be present. “Then the fire of the LORD fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood and the stones and the dust, and it licked up the water that was in the trench” (1 Kings 18:38). God commands women to cry out to Him in fasting, prayer, and repentance:

“Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm. Who knows if He will turn and relent, And leave a blessing behind Him—A grain offering and a drink offering For the LORD your God? Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children and nursing babes; Let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, And the bride from her dressing room. (Joel 2:12–16)

Also, it is time to bring forth the petitions and prayers before the Lord for our loved ones and our children. Once the cups are full and the sacrifices of our prayers are on the altar, He will come and move. Jesus will do what we can’t. He will refresh us and save us and our loved ones. We can’t, but He can. We are weak, but He is strong. God is waiting for the sacrifice from our hands!

Church Intercessor

Intercession for the church comes natural after intercession for self and family. By interceding for the church and its members, we enrich and build immunity to self and the body of Christ. Praying for the church is part of the whole armor of God and should be practiced daily: “Praying always with all prayer . . . with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints” (Eph. 6:18, NKJV). Here are just some ideas:

  1. Pray for your pastor, his family and their needs.
  2. Pray for your church members, their families and their needs.
  3. Add to your praying list people that you feel a special burden given by the Lord.
  4. Pray for the needs and revival of your church.
  5. Pray for the persecuted church all over the world.
  6. Pray for a missionary that you know, or an evangelist.

Note: The above list of suggestions for your prayer is the job of an intercessor. God will be pleased even with a little. He can use these two fish and five loaves of bread from your hands to do miracles beyond your imagination.

Tip: Feel free to include as many people and petitions as God puts on your heart. Do not feel like you need to include many people, nor be afraid to have a long list. Take a load that you feel comfortable with. Have freedom to increase or decrease your list depending on your spiritual season.

Please share with others for advancement of God’s Kingdom and glory of Jesus.

The Great Revival

I want to share with you one Christian man’s vision about coming great revival:

“I saw in the hands of the Lord а Cup in a form of a large bowl. I have never seen such a big Cup in my life. This Cup was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit or Revival. This Bowl contained a revival that is to come on the whole earth.

I saw the nature of this revival. It is full of miracles that the church and the world have never seen before. The authority of Jesus Christ will be so great that at the name of Jesus every knee will indeed bow.  The mentioning of the name of Jesus Christ will produce a variety of wonders during the prayer meetings and worship. I saw how large rocks and mountains (natural and spiritual strongholds) were literally being dissolved into powder. Liberation, which was impossible to achieve by human forces, were taking place through the name of Jesus Christ. Yet, some of the believers that the Lord used to operate through spiritual gifts became skeptics. Many will say, “I cannot believe that of God.” Just as in the time of Jesus Christ they called Him the son of Beelzebub, so will these people react. For it will be too incredible to believe! However, He is God, to whom nothing can be too incredible! He created the earth!  Just like computer information speedily transfers from one place to another, so will this awakening grow and spread rapidly. The Awakening will be swift. The church will be a True Body. The Lord will use His vessels to deliver His information by transporting people in a physical form. To the church it will become normal to suddenly meet a person from the other end of the earth, who will inform them of what the Holy Spirit is doing there. Such people will be like “backpacks” shaking out the contents of His miracles in order for them to begin to happen in that place. They will be transported to the other end of the earth to carry the movement of the Holy Spirit.  There were no Mega-churches, but there were Evangelical meetings that held thousands of people. Home groups, consisting of a hundred to two-hundred people, were called churches. I watched it from the top. Those churches were like small lights scattered all over the land, as stars are scattered throughout the sky.

I witnessed the filling of the cup.  It was being filled with the prayers of intercessors whom God set up all over the face of the earth. To each intercessor was given the knowledge of the nature of the awakening, depending on the region. The intercessors were taught by the Lord what to intercede for. He placed a special burden on them what to intercede and pray for by revealing the nature of the revival the Lord wants to bring in that region. When they began to feel and understand the Lord’s heart, intercession flowed freely. Their prayers were full of His emotions, struggles, and joys. Their prayers had real power. I saw the Cup being filled by the intercessions from all over the world. Every prayer was counted. (I personally believe that intercessors have a prophetic gifting, for the things they intercede and the way they intercede are prophetic in nature and given by God.)

Once the Cup will be filled, then the Lord will overturn it and there will be a great outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the earth. This revival will touch all the land at once. This will be an instant awakening or revival. People will receive what they prayed for in an instant. Things they saw in their visions and revelations will begin to manifest. Outpouring will start in the areas where intercessors prayed.

Pay special attention to the fact that the foundation of all these events was prayer. Intercessors are people to whom God gives the ability to see His vision for the place that they are located. So I would especially like to encourage them. Maybe today you received from God some revelations and visions that you are stunned with and they are very difficult to believe. However, trust me, they are from God and they are inevitable. I want to say another thing to the intercessors: continue to be inspired and pray for what God reveals to you. Fill the cup. The more we pray, the more the Holy Spirit will fill the Cup, and the sooner it will be poured out on earth. I would also like to mention that there will be few intercessors.

There will be specific people through which God will create unique things on earth. I do not know what was so special about them. It could have been their calling or their special dedication to God. They will do a unique thing; something new from Heaven that will be manifested on earth. It will be ordained by God. So the same way that God created the world by His Word, saying, “Let there be…,” -and it was as He determined, so will those intercessors know what God wants to create on this earth. God will use them and they will proclaim the will of God, and it will be executed on earth. This is what I have seen.

My word to the intercessors: Be encouraged by the Spirit who reveals Himself to you and shows you the things to come. I know that you exist because God has shown you to me.  You exist all over the face of the earth, and each of you have insight of the revival that God has ordained in your area according to what He has predestined. I know the traits of the revival where I am.  I know what I’m supposed to pray for and what we should pray for together and you know, as well.  Be blessed! Jesus Christ is coming! Amen.”

The man wants to remain anonymous, but wishes to share this revelation and to encourage intercessors to pray and dare for things God reveals to them and puts on their hearts.

Please share for the glory of God! Thank you! Be blessed!
